The ninth edition of Liga Suparimau presented by Boost Juice kicked off in Kuala Lumpur, Selangor, Putrajaya, Perak and Sabah last weekend. Over the next 10 weeks the latest season of Malaysia’s nationwide grassroots league will host over 65 divisions in 10 states for players from Under 6 to Under 16.
The opening weekend saw 305 teams and over 3,000 players start their 2024 Season C campaigns at 11 venues from PSU Taman Botani in Ipoh all the way down to Padang Likas in Kota Kinabalu.
Next weekend those teams will be joined by academies in Johor before leagues in Pahang, Terengganu, Kedah and Kelantan get started in October.
