It’s six weeks down and five to go for Season C of Malaysia’s grassroots football league, Liga Suparimau. Competitions are now underway in 11 districts, with only Pahang left to kick off on Saturday 5th November.
Last weekend saw the launch of Liga Suparimau’s first competition in Kedah. Arena Paremba MBAS hosted seven matches in the Under 12, Under 14 and Under 16 divisions on Saturday, and our photographer was there to capture the best of the action.
Elsewhere in the country, 555 teams from Under 6 to Girls Under 17 have now played a total of 1,196 matches in Liga Suparimau Season C.
More than 2,200 goals have been recorded in competitive matches for the Under 12 to Under 16 teams, and over 9,000 players have participated.
When Liga Suparimau Pahang kicks off this Saturday, a total of 590 teams from more than 230 academies will be playing in Liga Suparimau Season C.
A huge congratulations to all participants – enjoy this week’s galleries from Kedah, Perak and Selangor below.
